The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Mother of God is located in Tashkent, not far from the central railway station. The Cathedral was built on the site of the old building of the Panteleimon Church in 1878.
Today, the cathedral is a large complex, including the Assumption Cathedral, the Church of St. Luke of the Crimea, the Holy Water Chapel, the Baptismal Chapel and the Theological Seminary.
The territory of the temple has been improved and expanded, the complex has a small garden with a fountain and a marble plaque made in honor of the centenary of the Tashkent diocese.
