One of the reasons to visit Uzbekistan is its nature. The nature of Uzbekistan is very diverse and beautiful.
Uzbekistan is located in the interfluve of the Amu Darya and Syr Darya. These are the two largest rivers not only in Uzbekistan, but throughout Central Asia. The total length of the Syr Darya is 2,137 km, and the Amu Darya is 1,437 km.
Two-thirds of Uzbekistan’s territory consists of deserts. Two large deserts, Kyzylkum and Karakum stretch for several hundred kilometers across the country to the foot of the Tien Shan.
Most of the country’s territory is occupied by plains, but there are also high mountains located in the east and southeast. In the north-eastern part of the country, in the Jizzakh region, there is a freshwater lake Aydarkul and the Nuratinsky mountains, which also attract tourists with their beauty.
