The main function of the Tashkent TV Tower is radio and television broadcasting. The broadcasting center has been operating for more than 20 years, it is also the largest in Central Asia.
The center is equipped with modern telecommunications and production equipment from leading manufacturers around the world, more than a hundred qualified employees provide round-the-clock television and radio broadcasting in Tashkent, Tashkent and Syrdarya regions and parts of Kazakhstan.
Incredibly, but a fact – many residents of Tashkent are sure that the Tashkent TV Tower has always been “as long as they can remember.” However, this year the graceful Tashkent TV Tower celebrated its 35th anniversary.
The TV Tower in Tashkent is visited by many residents and guests of Uzbekistan, there is a special excursion service. Visitors can sign up for an excursion, during which they will be told in detail about the history of the construction of the TV Tower and the sights of Tashkent, which are so clearly visible from the observation deck.
At the foot of the TV Tower is the famous Pilaf Center, where this truly oriental dish is prepared in huge cauldrons, as well as the Tashkent Water Park and the Tashkent Amusement Park – a favorite place of entertainment for children and adults.
