Khast-Imam Square (Hazrati Imam) is the Religious Center of Tashkent. This complex was born near the tomb of one of the first imams of the city of Tashkent. He was a renowned scholar, a scholar of the Quran and hadiths, a poet and a craftsman.
The new Hazrati Imam Mosque building was erected in 2007. The building consists of a mosque and two minarets with 16th century architecture. Thus, the entrance area of the mosque is decorated with the magnificent work of woodcarvers representing various schools of Uzbekistan.
Landscape architects also made a great contribution. Exotic trees, shrubs and flowers were imported from different countries. In the spring, summer and autumn periods, storks freely walk around the territory of the Khast-Imam ensemble. And at night, thanks to special lighting, architectural structures on the territory of the complex evoke a sense of presence in the world of oriental fairy tales.
