The Museum of Railway Transport was founded in 1999 and is still considered the largest museum in Kazakhstan by area.
The museum has models of steam locomotives, wagons, track cars, track signs and other tools. There is a hall dedicated to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, as well as a hall dedicated to the independence of Kazakhstan.
The museum’s collection includes archival photographs, documents, road signs and vintage technique.
