The Museum of Archeology is located in the Gylym Ordasy complex and is the only one of its kind in Kazakhstan.
There are bronze earrings, arrowheads, pots belonging to the Andronovo culture, as well as other archaeological finds. Of great interest is the Golden Man,” these are the remains of a Saka warrior in golden robes, who was found in a burial chamber. In total, more than 4,000 ornaments were sewn on the clothes of the war.
Now the “Golden Man” is considered a symbol of Kazakhstan, and is exhibited at the State Museum of Gold and Precious Stones in the city of Astana. A copy is available at the Museum of Archeology in Almaty.
