Lake Kyzyl Kol is located in a semi desert zone, in the east of the Turkestan region.
The water in the lake is salty, and its composition is identical to the water of the Dead Sea in Israel. In Soviet times, people took mud baths, were treated for skin diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and much more.
This place is considered one of the best places for bird watching and is included in the list of ornithological territories. Here you can meet the pink pelican, golden eagle and other birds, in general there are about 216 species. During the migration period, ducks and swans can be found here.
