Uzbekistan: Travel in winter

Winter in Uzbekistan is not so cold compared to other Central Asian countries. The temperatures don’t drop below zero during the day; however, they often fall to -1 to -3 at night. January and February are considered the coldest months in Uzbekistan. It rarely snows in Uzbekistan, but if it snows, you’ll get to see a magical winter wonderland.

The skiing season lasts from December until March. You can enjoy ski holidays in Chimgan and Beldersay ski resorts. Both resorts have all difficulty levels. The Chimgan resort is particularly suitable for beginners, and Beldersay is mainly aimed at experienced skiers.
