In 2018, according to the American Gallup Institute, Uzbekistan entered the top five safest countries in the world.

Uzbekistan is a safe country for solo travelers as well as group and family travelers.

As everywhere in the world, petty crimes happen, it is generally advised to be careful in local bazaars, public transport and in crowded places.

If suddenly a tourist needs help while traveling, then in any public place there are police stations where they will provide first aid. Law enforcement agencies can be contacted by calling 102. Also in Uzbekistan, there is a tourist police in places of the greatest concentration of tourists, which is responsible for the safety of guests of the country.
