The climate in Uzbekistan is sharply continental, the air temperature in summer can reach +45, and in winter it drops by an average of – 5. Therefore, the most optimal weather for travel is the period from April to June and from September to October.

Spring and autumn
Spring and autumn are the most favorable time to travel to Uzbekistan. Since there is little precipitation at this time, and the air temperature is about 25 degrees Celsius. This is the best time for cultural excursions, as well as to get out into nature.
Arriving in Uzbekistan in the spring, you will see blooming fields, valleys, and also witness the large-scale traditional holiday Nooruz, which is celebrated annually on March 21.
And in autumn you can visit the oriental bazaars and enjoy an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits.
Summer
Summer in Uzbekistan is very hot, from about mid-June to August the air temperature rises by +45 degrees. Such weather is called chilla and lasts in general about 40 days. Walking at this time is not recommended, but still, if you decide, then plan excursions for the morning and be sure to wear sunglasses and a headgear, or plan for the evening after 17:00.
Winter
Traveling in winter is also a good idea, since the winters here are not severe, the sun shines most of the time, so the tour will take place in quite comfortable conditions.
In winter, the average air temperature is about -5 degrees. But the high temperature in the mountains pleases with an abundance of snow, so winter sports enthusiasts have a great opportunity to have a great time at such ski resorts as Chimgan and Beldersay, enjoy the mountain air, go snowboarding, ice skating, freeride and even try paragliding.
