Tosor Pass

The Terskey Ala-Too mountain range is known for its Tosor Pass. It is located at an altitude of 3 km 893 m. Tosor is part of the path that connects two regions: Issyk Kul and Naryn.

Crossing the pass is quite difficult. A gentle descent combined with impassable trails covered with snow creates many difficulties for travellers. But it’s worth to climb here even in order to enjoy the magnificent mountain beauties. The air here is amazingly clean and fresh. If you listen to the peaceful silence, it may seem that you can hear the breath of the mountains.

Near Tosor is the village of the same name. Here, once there was a settlement of an ancient man. Scientists suggest that the first implements of labour were produced at this ancient site.
