Jety-Oguz is a ridge of red rocks covered with forest thickets. The length of the cliffs is 37 kilometres. Huge dark green forests, spread over the mountain slopes of red sandstone, create an amazing colour contrast.
Jety-Oguz, translated from Kyrgyz means “7 bulls.” This specific name was given by the gorge because of the red clay rock mass.
The gorge has a rather large length – almost 40 kilometres and throughout this vast territory, there are a huge number of places of interest to visit such as Kok Zhaiyk jailoo, Oguz Bashi peak
Also, Jety-Oguz waterfalls are widely known, among which the waterfall beloved by tourists is Maiden’s Spit.
