Sarkent National Park

Sarkent National Park is located in the Batken region. The size of the protected area is quite impressive, about 40 thousand hectares. Here, in the wild, representatives of the fauna listed on the Red Book live and breed well: leopard, Kumai, golden eagle, saker, lynx, and others.

Sarkent attracts travellers with five beautiful full-flowing lakes. The park is also rich in dense juniper forests. For tourists, a small yurt settlement is laid out in the park. Here you can feel like a real nomad, get acquainted with the intricacies of the life of nomadic peoples and just relax from the daily rush. Locals treat guests with koumiss and ayran.

A visit to Sarkent National Park will have a beneficial effect on the health of the whole organism because the clean mountain air and clear healing water help restore strength and cope with many ailments.
