At a distance of 90 km from Bishkek, there is a mountain gorge called Kel Tor. It is adjacent to another local attraction Kegety Gorge. On the territory of the gorge, there is a lake of the same name. The name Kel Tor is literally translated as “Dead Lake”. The reservoir is famous for its unusually clear turquoise water.
The surroundings are rich in spruce forests, medicinal herbs, berry bushes.
