Boom gorge is a kind of thread that links the two regions: Chui and Issyk-Kul.
It is traversed by railway and a highway leading from the capital to the pearl of Kyrgyzstan – the Issyk-Kul Lake.
The length of the canyon is about 30 km.
On the road, the traveler can enjoy beautiful views of the high mountains, steep and rocky, but somewhere with the shallow and rapid flow of the river Chu.
At the entrance to the gorge is a unique water source that in translation into Russian sounds like «Holodnye Kluchi». In this place, travelers often stop to rest from the long road.
Boom gorge is also a popular place for lovers of rafting and hiking.
