Sufficiently long Arpa valley located in the south of the Naryn region. Its dimensions are 60 by 32 km.
On all sides the valley is surrounded by mountain ranges: Ferghana, Torugart, At-Bashy ridges and ridges Ortok-Too and Jaman-Too.
Arpa Valley is located at an altitude of over 2,900 meters above sea level. The climate is quite harsh, the winter is cold, summer is warm but short.
Snow depth may exceed 60 cm. Meadows of the valley is used as pasture for cattle.
