At Bashy Village

The village of At Bashy is the administrative centre of the district of the same name in Naryn region. It is located in a picturesque valley through which flows a tributary of the river Naryn – At Bashy.

Not far away, in the northern part of the valley are beautiful pine forests. Around the village, there are other small towns surrounded by pastureland (jailoo).
According to some estimates, the site of the present village of At Bashy first settlement appeared more than 10 centuries ago, so there is a historically preserved element of the traditional way of life and nomadic culture of the Kyrgyz people.
