    Itinerary

    Day 1. Arrival – Bishkek (30 km, 40 min)

    Arrival to Manas Airport in Bishkek where our team will pick up you and drive you to hotel situated in the capital.

    After relaxing in the hotel, our team brings a car to the hotel and you start your Self-driving tour.

    You can make a city tour in Bishkek. Visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square where the State Historical Museum is located. You can enjoy a walk in the Oak Park, one of the favorite places of local people. Bishkek is known as the greenest city in Central Asia thanks to its countless parks and alleys making the city a great place to live.

    After lunch, you will have time to visit the local market Osh bazar. Here you can appreciate the creativity and talent of local artisans. Just as you step the market, you plunge into the real oriental atmosphere: an interminable stream of people, a big variety of goods and colors.

    In the evening, you can go to one of the best restaurants in Bishkek where you can taste delicious Kyrgyz national dishes.

    Day 2. Bishkek – Burana - Chon Kemin (200 km, 3h)

    On the road you can visit the Burana Tower. The Burana Tower is an ancient minaret in the Chuy Valley in the north part of Kyrgyzstan. The tower with funerary monuments, earthworks, remains of the castle and three mausoleums – that’s all what last out of the ancient Balasagyn town that was founded by Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century.

    After you keep your way towards Chon Kemin gorge. You will have the opportunity to hike in the gorge and enjoy the beautiful alpine views and fresh mountain air.

    Optionally you can do horse riding. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.

    Day 3. Chon Kemin – Song-Kul Lake (210 km, 4-5h)

    The goal of the day is to reach Son Kul Lake located at an altitude of 3 000 m. Therefore, you will pass through the mountain pass Kalmak Ashuu (3400 m).

    When you arrive in the yurts camp, you get to know the hospitality of the nomads, their lifestyle and their customs.

    Day 4. Song-Kul Lake – Naryn (150 km, 3h)

    You continue your trip after the breakfast in the yurt.

    The goal of the day is to reach Naryn, so you should overcome a mountain pass Moldo Ashuu (3400m).

    As you arrive to the hotel you can take a shower and have a rest. After some rest you can walk in the town and discover the lifestyle of the local people.

    Dinner you can take in the restaurant.

    Day 5. Naryn - Tash Rabat – Kel Suu (340 km, 7h)

    After breakfast you go towards the Chinese border in order to reach the Kel Suu mountain lake. This mesmerizing lake is located at an altitude of 3 400 meters. Surrounded by steep rocks from all sides, this lake has many caves, grottos and stone islands.

    On the road you visit the caravanserai Tash Rabat, a historical monument founded by monks in the 10th century. During the Silk Road history, Tash Rabat has lost its religious significance and the main function of the monastery was providing a stay for caravans and travelers.

    At the end of the day, you will have a rustic dinner in the yurt camp.

    Day 6. Kel Suu – Kyndy Ashuu – Naryn (160 km, 4h)

    Breakfast, then we ascend to the “Disappearing Lake”, a turquoise lake in its beauty that thaws in the spring and its walls rise hundreds of meters upwards.

    After lunch we are starting driving back to civilization, on the way back we will take a different route via beatiful Kyndy Pass and descend again to the valley and the city of Naryn.

    Dinner you can have at the hotel.

    Day 7. Naryn – Eki-Naryn Valley - Tosor pass – Tamga (220 km, 7h)

    New adventures are waiting for you. Today you have a long day of ride in one of most beautiful and wild places of the country.

    You take a thrilling ride across the Tosor Pass (4020 m). It’s time to stop and enjoy the breathtaking sceneries. From the pass you’ll see a panoramic view of Issyk Kul Lake, unique and famous lake considered as a pearl of Central Asia.

    In the evening you arrive in Tamga where you stay in a cozy guesthouse.

    Day 8. Tamga – Skazka – Jety Oguz - Karakol (180 km, 3h)

    Breakfast. Departure. You visit the south shore of the lake. You go first to Skazka canyons, which signify Fairytale. Here you can find objects of surprising shapes and sizes. A real skyscraper or an animal may appear in front of you.

    Then you go Jety Oguz valley. Its name means “seven bulls”. The name is symbolic, because there are seven huge red-brown rocks resembling ranked furious bulls standing together.

    When you arrive to Karakol, you visit its famous sights as Russian Orthodox cathedral and Dungan mosque.

    Day 9. Karakol - Altyn Arashan – Cholpon-Ata (150 km, 3h)

    This day you try a special transport GAZ66 or KAMAZ (an old military truck from the surplus of the Russian army, which was converted to be used as a tourist vehicle)
    On our way we have to overcome the enormous rocks, ravines and pits. This ride should to be very exciting and fascinating.

    We will drive along the gorge that flows in the snow-melting water and between green vegetation and beautiful alpine landscapes, until we reach a small and beautiful valley, ice from a forest with several small huts.

    When you arrive at Altyn Arashan, the incredible beauty of these places strikes our eyes. Later, swimming in the hot springs is preview. Lunch in the guesthouse.

    Then you come back to Karakol by the same vehicle where you take again your car and continue the trip towards Cholpon Ata situated on the north shore of the lake.

    The road to Bishkek passes again through the Boom gorge.

    Upon arrival to Bishkek you can visit local markets to buy some presents and souvenirs.
