T13. Family Tour

Route of program day by day: 
Day 1. Airport – Bishkek
Briefing on the planned itinerary. City tour. Today we will visit Bishkek’s principal attractions as Ala – Too Square, State Historical Museum, the Oak Park and others. You can enjoy Soviet-style architecture as well as modern monuments and buildings. Bishkek is known as the greenest city in Central Asia thanks to its countless parks and alleys making the city a great place to live. Entertainment for children: The animator gets acquainted with the children and arranges games like «who is faster? Who is smarter? », and other games to entertain the children. In the evening, we´ll go to one of the best restaurants in Bishkek where you can taste delicious Kyrgyz national dishes.
Day 2. Bishkek – Burana – Chon Kemin gorge
After breakfast in Bishkek, we go towards the Burana Tower located about 80 km from the capital. The Burana Tower is an ancient minaret in the Chuy Valley in the north part of Kyrgyzstan. It is close to the city of Tokmok. The tower with funerary monuments, earthworks, remains of the castle and three mausoleums – that’s all what last out of the ancient Balasagyn town that was founded by the Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century. After we´ll keep our way towards Chon Kemin gorge. It is a unique place thanks to its unbelievable beauty and its rich diversity of fauna and flora. You will have the opportunity to hike in the gorge and enjoy the beautiful alpine views. Entertainment for children: The animator draws with children and tries to develop their drawing and imagination skills. All together, they draw the nature, animals and attractions the children saw today.
Day 3. Chon Kemin gorge
After breakfast, we will have a pleasant hiking on the large meadows. Therefore, you can enjoy the wonderful landscapes around you. You will admire the wild and untouched nature and listen to the marmots whistling. Entertainment for children: Animator plays games with children in the fresh air. These are national games with shades of modern elements. After lunch, we will have the «Boorsok show» «Boorsok» is a type of fried dough mixture that is popular in the cuisines of Central Asia eastwards to Mongolia. It is simple to make but there is a lot of variation in its preparation and design, leaving a lot of room for creativity for the adventurous chefs among you. Optionally: Horse riding
Day 4. Chon Kemin gorge – Oruktu village – Karakol
Early breakfast and departure to Сholpon Ata city, where we will visit the museum of petroglyphs. Then we go to Oruktu village, where we will swim in the hot springs. They are believed to have healing power. Lunch along the road. Upon the arrival to Karakol, we´ll check-in to a guesthouse. Entertainment for children: The animator and the children find a suitable stone on which the children can draw themselves some petroglyphs. In Karakol we´ll have a short city tour: visit the beautiful Russian Church made entirely of wood (built without nails), the Dungan Mosque (Dungan’s are minority group of Chinese Muslims living in this region and they originally come from Western China).
Day 5. Karakol – Jety Oguz – Tamga
After breakfast, we´ll go to the Jety Oguz valley. Its name means “Seven bulls”. The name is symbolic, as there are seven huge red-brown rocks resembling ranked furious bulls standing together. Especially romantic look has the rock "Broken Heart" located at the entrance to the gorge. Jety Oguz is also famous for the place named Kok-Jayyk, Valley of Flowers full of poppies in spring. After lunch we´ll arrive to Tamga village, where we will look for the spiritual place named Tamga Tash. Entertainment for children: The animator and the children collect cones in the gorge and afterwards use them to make different objects, such as a basket, a vase or animals. Afterwards they play games. In the evening, you will try a real Russian sauna "banya" in the guesthouse.
Day 6. Tamga – Skazka canyon – Bokonbaevo village
In the morning, we´ll go towards the town of Kochkor by the south shore of the lake; we´ll visit the Skazka canyons, which mean Fairytale. Here you can find objects of surprising shapes and sizes. A real skyscraper or an animal may appear in front of you. Entertainment for children: On arrival, the animator paves a safe route in the "Fairy Tale" canyon, after which he conducts the quest-game. Further, we´ll drive to the Bokonbaevo village. Here we´ll visit the local eagle hunter and his house. You will learn more about the Golden Eagle. Optionally: Eagle hunting demonstration.
Day 7. Bokonbaevo village – Son Kul
After breakfast we are going to reach Son Kul Lake, located at an altitude of 3 000 m. Therefore, we should overcome a mountain pass called Kalmak Ashuu. From the pass, Son Kul Lake seems very small, but as we go down and approach the lake, it reveals as a big and gorgeous lake. When we arrive in the yurt camp, you´ll get to know the hospitality of the nomads, their lifestyle and their customs. Entertainment for children: The animator makes an art class for the children, so every child can feel himself as an artist. After that, they make a mini yurt with already prepared materials. Note: yurt capacity 6 people. But during the low season you can be accommodated 2 pax per yurt according to the availability.

Day 8. Son Kul – Bishkek
Transfer to Bishkek. Lunch on the way. Entertainment for children: Today, the animator and the children play national games and then tells them their origins, after that they play popular games, such as twister, darts. Afternoon is free time.
Day 9. Bishkek – Ala Archa – Bishkek
Today we will have time to visit the local markets and buy some presents. You will not leave the bazar unsatisfied; you will surely find something that you were looking for, reminding you about Kyrgyzstan and your unforgettable trip here. Then we´ll go to the National Park of Ala Archa situated at 30 km from the capital. One hour later, you´ll get a picturesque valley with the mountain river Ala Archa. You will have the opportunity to hike in the gorge and enjoy the beautiful alpine views. The scenery of Ala Archa, is wild mountain nature with over 50 peaks. The park has everything that you might expect of an alpine zone - snow peaks, fast-flowing streams, alpine meadows and a pine forest, all of this creates a perfect place to have a rest and relax. You can also enjoy a picnic in the fresh air after the walk. Entertainment for children: The animator holds the relay race "Dad, mom and I are a sports family" In the evening, we will have the farewell dinner at a traditional Kyrgyz restaurant.
Day 10. Bishkek – Departure
Transfer to airport. Departure
