The amazing landscape of Konorchek canyons resembles the Grand Canyon, but within it, they carry significant particles of the unique nature of Kyrgyzstan. This fabulous location is 125 km from the capital, in the Boom gorge. Way to the canyon is possible only through the maze of rocks on the bed of a dry river. Rocky columns of red sandstone stretch for many kilometres.
Here, time seemed to stop, and the traveller has captured these spectacular sceneries, which cannot stop looking.
A special attraction of the canyons is an extinct volcano, whose age is estimated at 2.5-3 million years.
The climate in the Konorchek canyons quite unusual and original in the summer is very hot and dry in the winter cold, but with little or no precipitation.
