The height of the pass relative to sea level is a little more than 3 thousand meters. Dolon is that point on the map of Kyrgyzstan, where the highway from the Issyk Kul region is included in the Naryn depression.
Moving through Dolon is not easy. Travellers will first have a very difficult, gentle climb, then the same descent. But the picturesque nature, which is spread here in all the surroundings, is worth it to overcome some difficulties and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery. Near the pass, there is a local meteorological station.
