Ak-Sai Valley - a kind of "cold pole" of Kyrgyzstan. After all, here it was recorded the lowest temperature in the country: -56.3 degrees Celsius.
The valley is located at an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level, in the border zone between the ridge At-Bashi and Torugart.
In the valley Ak-Sai no large trees and bushes, almost all of its area is covered with short grass.
It is home to mountain sheep Marco Polo and goats. In the valley there are several hunting bases. Also interest is in ancient human settlement of the Neolithic period.
