Ai-Kul lake

On the northern slope of the Turkestan Range located Ai-Kul lake, which means "moon lake".

Lake area is 0.82 square km. To see it, you need to go a long way, rising to a height of about 3000 m.

The lake shores - sheer cliffs, which cannot be risen, so you can only see it through small passes in the spurs.
In the Ai-Kul tributaries two flow-stream. The water level rises in the summer and in the winter falls and the lake is covered with ice.

Ai-Kul Lake - a real treasure, hidden in the highlands, which fascinates and captivates with its beauty and inaccessibility.
